Alexander is Associate Professor at University of Perugia (Italy), where he moved after teaching and researching at University of Muenster (Germany), Queen’s University Belfast (UK/Northern Ireland) and at the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research at Ben Gurion University of the Negev (Israel)

Fabrizio Loce-Mandes

Fabrizio is Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the Peasant Activism Project. He received a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology of the Interdisciplinary Doctorate School “Cultures and Languages”, University of Perugia, with a scholarship for an ethnographic research in the field of deafness and Medical Anthropology, fully funded by the university.

Besides its core members, the project team includes a group of externally funded associate scholars and fieldwork consultants whose current work overlaps with the research programme and its geographical area of fieldwork. The collaboration with these associate scholars remains vital in order to create a striving research environment. In the course of the project, the collaboration with these associate scholars can take various forms.

The international advisory board comprises both emerging and established scho
lars whose research themes and expertise relates to the research program. Through this growing network the project guarantees a vital intellectual exchange at high international standards.
